The Official Yet Another Gaming Show Extra Life Post
I hope you are excited, because right now you are reading the official home post for Yet Another Gaming Show’s Extra Life effort. I’ll give you a second to collect yourself.
On October 8th, Evan, Ashley, Mike, Jeff and a few of our good friends in the gaming community will be taking over Games N Go Rosedale from open to close in an effort to raise money for Gillette Children’s Hospital in St Paul. How, you ask? By participating in a 24 hour gaming marathon, that’s how!
If you’d like to contribute to our effort, go to our team page at www.extra-life.org/team/yags and donate to the team member of your choice. Or even better, join our team and help raise money on your own. We are going to have some thank you gifts for everyone that joins our team and participates with us, even if it isn’t at the same time.

UPDATE 9/28: Mike wrote a very nice piece on Goozer Nation about the charity.
Update 10/7: Adding our donation thermomatrix and a window into our soul, I mean a window where you can watch us play games.
Update 10/10: We are currently in the top 40 of all teams, and that’s not counting the cash we raised at Games N Go last Saturday. Once that gets added in (around $400 if memory serves), we’ll be in on the front page with still a week to go. Amazing!
