The Gaming Goat
For people that know me well and our listeners, they know my belching abilities are hardly matched. This talent was not an easy skill to acquire.
At a young age my uncle first heard me burp and thought I had the potential to go all the way. My uncle is probably the loudest burper ever. No really, it is insane. Only 9 years my senior, David decided to share his knowledge of body gas with me. He had me swallow air and try to burp it back out a lot. I got the hang of it very quickly. It has taken 15 years to hone this gift. No I am not the best, but if it offends someone you know it was loud. From a different generation, my Mom and Grandma hate it and have told me I would never get a boyfriend doing that. Not the case and they still hate.
As a belcher, I always say it is better out than in. Doesn’t really matter where I am for the most part. If I have to, I burp. I can muffle it if need be. However, I don’t feel that recording Yet Another Gaming Show is a case in where it needs to be toned down. This is where the Gaming Goat came into inception. The YAGS episode titles the Gaming Goat is where it all started. Something mumbled quietly under Courtney’s breath has been born. After a friend of mine, Kevin Voith listened to the podcast he had to illustrate the beast. Behold the Gaming Goat and cower in fear!
