The Voice Behind Episode 25 – Ellen McLain
Always nice when an actor is nothing like their most famous role. I mean, I’m not saying that Ellen McLain isn’t’ capable of slowly trying to kill test subjects through a series of mazes of increasing difficulty, but she would probably sound much more supportive while doing it.
Ellen took some time out of her extremely busy schedule, including a run of The Mousetrap, to talk about starting out as Bitching Betty and progressing to GlaDOS and the AI in charge of the Jagers in Pacific Rim (unnamed, but I suggest Jagermeister). Her husband, fellow voice actor John Patrick Lowrie (warning: autoplay) chimes in on occasion as well. We’ll be sure to get him in front of a proper mic soon.
