Ep. 611 – Pasta Shortage
C’mon people, this is like, Day 1 stuff.
The guys come back from a thankfully peaceful week off ready to bear down on some sweet sweet carbs to stave off this last gasp of Second Winter. But perhaps because they’ve been doing takeout for so long, Evan and Dave decide to go a little more upscale, with Dave returning to Bacio (almost 9 years to the day) while Evan trods new ground (or pays a delivery person to trod it for him) at Tavola.
The guys discuss how the pandemic and recent trial has affected the downtown food market and what the future perhaps looks like. Dave laments the lack of good food news while Evan increases our future legal liability with some “fine” TV programming ideas. Plus baby farts, ruined pasta salad and the first (but not last) appearance of Brian Seacrest.
