It’s been far too long since we’ve been to St. Paul, but the siren song of the Blue Plate Group once again calls to us. This time, Bottle Rocket provides the food while the guys talk about the late Bill Paxton and Girl Scout Cookies (not made from real girl scouts, as it happens). Then the topic shifts to the recent closing of Bearcat Bar, the debate about the $15 minimum wage and tip credit in Minneapolis and the response to both by the local food writing community.
We’ll probably not have a food writer on the show again, will we?
