The Store Is Open!
People with money and need of clothing, hear our cry! Once again, our Fancy Pants store is open for your shirt purchasing needs. But this is no ordinary store.
Instead of using a traditional storefront software like our old partners at Shopify, we are doing something a little different. Partnering this time with Teespring, we are combining the short term insanity of shirt-a-day sites like ShirtPunch and the supporter-powered pioneer spirit of Kickstarter to create something I wanted to call ShirtKicker but my lawyers said something that I ignored but I could tell from their faces it was a bad idea.
Here’s how it works: Each month we will have at least one new shirt available for purchase through Teespring. Each shirt will only be available to purchase for 30 days and then they are gone forever*. On top of that, like Kickstarter we need to get a certain amount of orders for the shirt before they are printed, so if you see a shirt you’d like to get, make sure to let your friends know about it as well. We are going to try to keep the minimum order as low as possible, but your support is always needed.
This is very much an experiment for us, so if you like or dislike it, or you have questions, please do not hesitate to let us know. I think there is some great potential for this, and we’ve already got some great ideas for the future.
