Chris and Jerksica have been absent from your Blogulator Radio airwaves for a spell due to adventures in home ownership (hence the dissonant sounds of fans and dehumidifiers filling the background on this week’s episode), but they’re back this week with a vengeance.
First they’d like to review a couple of new shows for you: TBS’s new hour-long semi-musical sitcom (did you groan yet?) with the very inspired title Wedding Band. Its merits include the fact that it stars a heavily mascara’d Brian Austin Green. Listen to find out if that is all.
Next they bring you a way-too-detailed analysis of MTV’s TV series adaptation of the feature-length documentary Catfish, in which internet homebodies meet in real life for the first time the avatars they fell in love with online.
And lastly, speaking of the interwebs, they perform a series of theatrical vignettes for your (and their) entertainment. Ever find a message board thread that’s just too inane to not read every word of? Well Chris and Jerksica think the Internet Movie Database is full of ’em and they would like to share with you some of their recent favorites in recitation format.
