Yet Another Gaming Show Episode 265 – For The Children
If for some reason you have missed the last few shows, or have listened and wondered when this late-breaking facade of professionalism would finally lift, well then this is your show. As the kids say, it’s a bit of a hot mess. I personally blame Gene from Games N Go, our special not-Ian this week.
Speaking of children and Gene (and not in a have-a-seat-over-there kind of way), Mr Games N Go is on the show to talk about our upcoming Extra Life event taking place this coming Saturday, October 8th at Games N Go Rosedale. From open to close, Evan, Mike, Ashley, and Jeff will join random friends and wellwishers to participate in the first leg of a 24 hour gaming journey that will end deep in a basement in Northeast Minneapolis. Be sure to come down and say hi, maybe even challenge us to a game or two. Donations will be accepted onsite or on our website (see what I did there). The goal has been bumped to $2500 bucks as we have crushed our previous goal thanks to your generosity.
Not that we just talk about Extra Life the whole show. We also cover Marky Mark, what Nintendon’t, and The Binding Of Isaac. Holding all three of those things in your mind at once has been known to cause mental fracturing normally not seen outside of old Japanese game mistranslations.
Even though our event is this weekend, you still have plenty of time to contribute to our Extra Life charity drive. If you want more information about the event, we’re collecting all news in this friendly, blog-sized space. So convenient.

If you haven’t subscribed to this show yet, ask yourself why. And then tell yourself you’ve got options like iTunes and even regular old RSS. There really isn’t a reason not to do it.
