The Well Fed Guide To Life Episode 179 – Meats A Plenty
One thing we love about German food is the preponderance of animal flesh. Germans have long held true to the adage that the cuter the animal, the better the meat. If they were coastal, we’d probably have Dolphinbraten.
Luckily, Glockenspiel sticks to the traditional meats of pig, cow, deer and rabbit and we couldn’t be happier. No better way to celebrate the end of Oktoberfest then with a large stein of beer and an entire deer family on your plate. Whilst eating Bambi’s mother, Dave and Evan discuss the important news of the day, like the Russian guy dying after a dumpling eating contest and the racist bake sale. Dave also fawns (get it?) over his future sandwich and Evan officially rings in the autumn as well as the official start of Gravy Season.
We’d also like to dedicate this week’s show to Arch West, creator of the Dorito. May the angels lift you up on Cool Ranch wings.
